Description
This 1961 Lincoln Continental Convertible currently resides in Piedmont, California with its current owner, actor and car collector Daniel Wu. The car currently shows 47,9XX miles which is believed to be accurate, but there is no documentation to support this, so we must list the car as TMU.
The exterior of this car is the original Black Cherry Metallic, and was reportedly repainted as part of a full restoration done by the previous owner. The car rides on custom built 20 inch billet aluminum wheels that were made to replace the stock Lincoln wheel coverings. The current white-wall tires have been shaved to retain the nostalgic look. The factory black leather was entirely redone to factory spec, and the carpets, dashboard, and convertible top were replaced.
The convertible top has been fully rebuilt and functions as it should, and the electronics that operate the system were reportedly replaced in the previously mentioned restoration. The dashboard instrumentation was also replaced, all of which works as it should.
Under the hood is the factory original 430 cubic-inch V8, which was rebuilt as part of the restoration. The car reportedly starts right up, and runs and drives perfectly. The factory suspension was replaced with a full AccuAir system that can be controlled via remote by the driver.
This car is offered through dealer consignment, and will include the original suspension components, wheels, and tires. Additional photos and videos are provided below. Please note that California buyers should expect to pay sales tax and other applicable fees.
